Pragati and Caxton invest in SBL diecutter and folder-gluer

At the recently concluded PrintPack India 2017 exhibition, Hyderabad-based Techno Graphic Services (TGS) announced two major sales of its SBL diecutter and folder-gluer. While Pragati Offset invested in the SBL diecutter with stripping capability, Caxton Printers put the bet on the folder-gluer with 4 and 6 corners with carry bag making option. This is the second SBL machine for Pragati. Earlier at drupa 2016, Pragati purchased an automatic foil stamping machine SBL 1050.

At its stand in PrintPack, TGS demonstrated its SBL diecutter along with a Wen Chyuan laminating machine. Wen Chyuan laminating machine is equally popular in India as the SBL diecutter. The machine’s popularity can be gauged from the fact that TGS has already sold over 60 Wen Chyuan laminating machines in the country in a very short span of time. TGS is the sole distributor of SBL and Wen Chyuan in India.

TGS is a thirty-year-old company with headquarters at Hyderabad. Speaking about the high popularity of the SBL diecutter and Wen Chyuan laminating machine, Murlidhar Nalli of TGS said, “Requirement of after-sales service for both the machines are minimal as these machines rarely develop complications. Nevertheless, we have a strong force of service engineers in place.”
