Oben Group, a global leader in high-quality packaging films with a diverse and unique product portfolio, continues to expand its footprint. Following the acquisition of KristaFilms in July 2023, the company is set to establish a new production facility in Monterrey, Mexico. This facility will feature the world’s most advanced BOPP film production line, setting new industry benchmarks in output, speed, and winding diameter – delivered by Brückner.

As one of Brückner’s earliest and largest customers, Oben Group has maintained a strong partnership with the company. Markus Gschwandtner, managing director of Brückner Maschinenbau, expressed his appreciation for this collaboration. “I am particularly pleased that our long-term partnership has resulted in the world’s first 12-meter BOPP line. It highlights our close relationship of over 30 years and, for now, is the icing on the cake.”

Oben Group’s president, Jamil Zaidan, emphasized the company’s unwavering commitment to growth and innovation. “This new milestone reflects our dedication to pushing the boundaries of efficiency and productivity. Our partnership with Brückner has been instrumental in achieving these advancements, and we look forward to further strengthening our leadership in the packaging industry worldwide.”
