Kalna Plast – based in Burdwan, West Bengal – recently installed an 8-color full servo flexo press and two automatic ice cream paper cone forming machines. The machines were supplied by Noida-based SG Edge. Kalna Plast manufactures disposable cups, gasses, containers, and LD containers for ice creams.

“Kalna Plast wanted to expand its product portfolio and approached us for ice cream cone forming and printing machines. We suggested to them our flexo press and ice cream cone forming machines – both the machines are very user-friendly and provide high print quality, and come with latest features,” said Santosh Kumar, CEO of SG Edge.

Meanwhile, SG Edge has also installed a 6-color tower flexo press at Skylark Label, based in Noida. The tower flexo press features online die-cutting, cold foil and lamination. SG Edge also supplied a slitting machine to Skylark, catering to the automobile segment.

SG Edge also deals in refurbished machines. Just recently, they installed a 6-color label press at a well-known label company in Haridwar, which produces pharma labels. SG Edge represents multiple manufacturing companies and predominantly supplies full rotary CI letterpress, semi-rotary (intermittent) letterpress, narrow web flexo press, roll-to-roll screen printing machines, etc.

At the recently concluded Pamex 2023 exhibition, SG Edge highlighted its whole range of products. When we met Kumar on the second day of the exhibition, he said, “We have received a fantastic response at the exhibition. On the first day, we sold two machines – an automatic video plate mounter to a Hyderabad-based company and an Ultrasonic Anilox Cleaning machine to a company based in Mumbai. We are very optimistic about the remaining days of the show.”
