Nilpeter unveils new FB-Line

-

Nilpeter has unveiled a new FB-Line press, available in 14- and 17-inch models. The press line has been engineered to meet the increasing demands for automation and digitalization in the printing sector.

The new addition to the FB-Line offers the best of both worlds – advanced automation features from the FA-Line combined with full compatibility with the FB-Line. The new FB-Line has been developed with precision, efficiency, and user-friendliness in mind, featuring the advanced Nilpeter PowerLink control system. This system offers enhanced accuracy and control through its new dual servo print head, ensuring precise performance across various printing tasks. Additionally, the integration of an automatic register and genuine pre-register system enhances operational efficiency, making it ideal for dynamic printing environments.

Alan Barretto, managing director of Nilpeter India, said, “Automation and digitalization are at the forefront of this initiative, and the new FB-Line embodies our commitment to these principles, offering our customers the best in technology and quality, considering the associated costs. Compatible with FB-350/-430 tooling through an adaptation kit, this new press provides greater flexibility by allowing customers to reuse tools from their existing presses.”

Nilpeter first shared its vision for the future of flexographic printing with the updated FA-Line at Labelexpo Europe 2023. The new FB-Line continues to build on this vision by merging automation with advanced digitalization capabilities, thus enhancing efficiency and precision in printing.

Peter Eriksen, chief operating officer at Nilpeter, said, “The new FB-Line is strategically very important to Nilpeter and our customer base. We know that the market has been looking for a product positioned between our popular FB-Classic workhorse and our highly advanced FA-Line. With the new FB-Line, printers receive a very high level of automation and operator friendliness, but at an investment level that is accessible to a broader segment. We have already received a lot of positive feedback from several customers, and there’s been significant interest in our new press. This enthusiasm from the market is reflected in the fact, that several presses have already been sold before its official launch.”

The capabilities of the new flexo press will be showcased live at Labelexpo Americas in September. In addition to showcasing at international expos, live demonstrations of the new press will also be available at several Nilpeter Technology Centers around the world.
