[dropcaps style=’2′]At IGAS 2018, Taiyo from Japan will display two new products – its latest servo-driven UV flexo press and roll-fed high-speed flat diecutter. The servo-driven UV flexo press has been specially designed to print on cartons and labels. Mumbai-based Standard Printers Providers, which is the sole distributor of Taiyo in India, will also be present at Tayo’s stand at the IGAS event to be held at Tokyo Big Sight, Tokyo from 26-31 July.[/dropcaps]

Gaurav Sachdev of Standard Printers Providers said that Taiyo presses are getting a very good response in the Indian market. “India is a very potential market and many Indian convertors are now showing interest in the Taiyo technology. We have already installed two Taiyo presses in India – one at Mumbai’s Label Solutions and another at Delhi’s Regal Creative – while two more orders are in the pipeline and will be installed very soon,” said Sachdev.

Mumbai-based Label Solutions installed the brand-new Taiyo STF340 10-color narrow web flexo press in late March 2018. The UV flexo press was on display at an open house organized at Label Solutions on 28 April 2018. The shaftless press with multiple servo motors has a short web path with movable cold-stamp unit and print cylinder with support ring. The press can handle a range of substrates from 20 microns to 350 gsm paperboard. The press at Delhi’s Regal Creative was installed late last year.

At IGAS, Taiyo/Standard Printers Providers will be present at Hall East-6, Stand 6-3.
