Mondi is highlighting its semi-chemical fluting solutions, designed to perform reliably in challenging conditions, from long-distance transport to cold storage and high-humidity environments.

Its semi-chemical portfolio includes ProVantage Powerflute, made from 100% fresh fibre and developed for applications requiring maximum strength and resistance to variable climates; ProVantage Frescoflute, offering excellent dimensional stability and compression strength during processing and storage; and ProVantage Aquaflute, optimized for environments where short-term moisture and water resistance are essential.

These containerboard grades are widely used across industries with complex requirements, including fresh fruit and vegetables, dairy and deep-frozen products, meat, poultry and seafood, as well as industrial, chemical and automotive applications. Compared to waste-based alternatives, fresh fiber-based semi-chemical fluting offers significantly lower creep parameters, which is essential in corrugated boxes maintaining stacking strength over time under changing humidity and load conditions.
