Mondi, a global leader in sustainable packaging and paper, has completed its Euro 125 million investment in the Kuopio containerboard mill. It includes upgrades to the wood yard, fiber line, evaporation plant, and paper machine producing ProVantage Powerflute, a high-performance fluting predominantly used in fresh fruit and vegetable trays and boxes.

This investment will increase production capacity by 55,000 tonnes per annum, enhance product quality for the benefit of our customers, and improve environmental performance by reducing greenhouse gas emissions per tonne of paper and improving resource and energy efficiency.
