Max Speciality Films wins 2017 India Star Award for BOPP film

-

For the third time in last five years Max Speciality Films Limited (MSFL) has won the coveted “India Star Award” 2017. The new MSFL ‘The Ultra-High Barrier and Strong-Seal Cavitated Metalized BOPP Film’ was adjudged the outstanding breakthrough in the “Excellence in Packaging” category; out of highest record of 622 entries received.

Company officials say that for years, packagers of snacks have had no option but to use two different substrates: aluminium foil to keep out moisture and oxygen and PE for its sealing characteristics. That combination has now been replaced with a single award-winning innovation – ‘The Ultra-High Barrier and Strong-Seal Cavitated Metalized BOPP Film’ developed by the company’s R&D Team, officials say.
