Eltech Engineers will present its El-Coroflex Narrow Web Corona Treater and Eltech-305 Anti-Static Shockless Bar at LOUPE India 2026, offering label converters solutions for surface treatment and static control.
As printing and converting lines run faster and substrates become more demanding, reliable print adhesion and smooth, static-free web handling have become more important. The two systems are designed for narrow-web label printing and converting applications, addressing surface treatment and static control respectively.
El-Coroflex – corona treatment for consistent results
The El-Coroflex is developed for narrow-web flexographic label printing and converting machines, combining compact integration with power and process-control technology. It is designed for treatment widths from 250 to 600 mm and operating line speeds of 50–120 m/min, and supports both conductive and non-conductive substrates.
The system uses ultra-high-frequency IGBT technology combined with German-made ceramic electrodes for corona treatment. Eltech’s Automatic Watt Density Control regulates corona treatment power in relation to changing line speed, which the company says helps maintain consistent treatment during acceleration and deceleration and reduces reliance on manual power adjustments. Digital corona-current monitoring provides visibility into operating conditions, while integrated PLC/HMI monitoring allows machine supervision. For industrial operation, the El-Coroflex includes protection and safety features such as ozone extraction, electrode cooling, zero-speed protection, overload protection and thermal protection.
Eltech-305 – static control for web handling
Static electricity is described by the company as an often-overlooked challenge in high-speed printing and converting, with excessive static charge potentially contributing to substrate sticking, dust attraction, feeding difficulties and inconsistent material movement.
The Eltech-305 Anti-Static Shockless Bar is designed to neutralize static charges and support stable web handling on narrow-web flexographic printing and converting machinery. Its shockless construction is said to enable safer installation close to moving substrates. Operating with the Eltech-335 power supply, the Eltech-305 can be manufactured in customized lengths up to 3,000 mm, for integration across different machine configurations and web widths.
Eltech said the two technologies – corona surface treatment and static elimination – are intended to offer label converters and machine manufacturers complementary solutions for surface performance, web handling and process reliability.
