At IndiaPlast 2019, Ligum along with its channel partner, Inpack Solutions, showcased its latest technologies for direct laser engraved sleeves. Bhupendra Srivastava, director of Inpack Solutions shared that many leading flexographics users visited Inpack’s stand during the exhibition to witness Ligum’s high definition flexographics elastomers which provide ever increasing print quality, operability and lower costs as compared to gravure printing.

“Based on many years of experience and continuous development of materials including many laboratory and practical tests, we are able to choose or adjust an optimal material according to the requirements and needs of each customer. We have technical solutions to identify and overcome press and pre-press issues, improve processes, and help save money. Our technical solutions are included in Lead Lasers flexo perfect products to bring high technology, high performance equipment for our customers to add value to their businesses,” said Srivastava.

Speaking about the market, Srivastava said, “Flexography printing is constantly growing in popularity in Indian with increased number of customers investing in CI flexo technologies. CI flexo technologies using elastomer sleeves overpass gravure quality and provide HD flexo printing. This is one of the reasons why CI flexo is becoming the lead choice for large FMCG companies. The sleeve technology has brought acceleration in speed, simplification and lower costs when replacing a printing form and within printing itself. Quick development of direct laser engraving and new generation of elastomers allow achieving very high printing quality.” Ligum is an exclusive supplier of elastomer sleeves to Uflex and Pal Group.

Oxxo sleeves and adapters
In addition to Ligum, Inpack’s another partner Oxxo also showcased its sleeves and adapters at IndiaPlast 2019. Oxxo’s sleeves and adapters are manufactured using the latest production technology fiber glass and adapters. The materials used are subjected to constant quality control procedures carried out at Oxxo facilities. In use around the world since one decade, Oxxo sleeves and adapters can be customized for all flexo printing presses.
