Leo Designs and Packaging, a diversified package printing company based at Nalagarh in the North Indian hill state of Himachal Pradesh, recently commissioned its Brotech CDF 330 digital finishing machine. The machine is configured with one flexo station for printing or cold foiling or varnishing, an option of rotary or intermittent die-cutting, slitting and rewinding. It can also handle slitting of lamitubes. The Brotech finishing equipment will complement Leo’s new digital label press installed recently. Brotech’s exclusive Indian agent Weldon Celloplast, New Delhi, handled the sale of this machine.

Spread over 4 acres of land and 70,000 square feet of shopfloor, Leo’s products include self-adhesive labels, lamitubes, mono cartons, eFlute cartons and regular shipper cartons. With a diverse product portfolio, they deliver to an impressive list of leading brand owners.

Varun Rao, managing director, Leo Design says, “We researched and were recommended Brotech by leading equipment suppliers, it is a good equipment. The installation has been efficiently handled by Weldon.”

Kanwardeep Sahni, managing director of Weldon, says, “Leo’s march into the diverse label and packaging segments is very impressive. They have a penchant for selecting the best equipment. We are happy about this installation and hope the association with Leo will grow as they continue to expand and service the growing label and packaging industry.”
