Domino India has announced the first-ever sale of its N730i digital label press in the Indian market. The announcement was made on the opening day of Labelexpo Europe in Barcelona, at Domino’s exhibition stand. The 1200 DPI press marks a significant development in Domino’s digital strategy, highlighting the company’s growing presence in India’s label printing sector.
Domino is set to install its digital label press at a prominent label converter in India by December 2025, with the customer’s identity to be disclosed after installation. The converter, operating from two facilities in western India, currently runs eight flexo presses and serves a range of brands in the industrial, lubricants, pharmaceutical, health, and beauty sectors. With a strong reputation in in-mould and self-adhesive labels, the company is now taking steps into digital label production, supported by Domino’s technology.
The N730i empowers converters to handle short to medium print runs with unmatched efficiency – perfect for startups and niche brands seeking vibrant, story-driven packaging. With consumer expectations rising, the ability to deliver personalized, high-impact labels is no longer optional – it’s essential.
Already familiar with Domino’s K600i monochrome inkjet printer, the customer is now set to enhance its capabilities with full-color variable data printing. This upgrade is expected to provide greater flexibility, faster turnaround times, reduced inventory needs, and improved SKU management for brand owners.
