“The Accurio Press C6100/C6085 can print on 400 gsm paper even while automatic duplexing with solid stability without the loss of productivity,” said Manish Gupta, national manager – PP and IP marketing, Konica Minolta India. “This enables printing business to expand their services including printing of thick paper tags, stand-up menus, sales promotion tools and more.” Gupta shared that the Accurio Press C6100/ C6085 is also suitable for short-run packaging printing especially for the FMCG, cosmetics and pharma industries. In addition, the Accurio Press C6100/C6085 has a wide range of inline finishing options that come with top-of-class professional specifications. They efficiently meet the needs of diverse output formats to enable services that can differentiate companies from the competition.

The first Accurio Press was launched during drupa 2016. Accurio is a common and unified new brand for all of Konica Minolta’s inkjet digital press and digital workflow solutions. The Accurio name reflects the advanced, automated and, most of all, accurate nature of Konica Minolta’s technology. The series includes Accurio Press electrophoto graphic printing systems, AccurioJet high-end inkjet presses, the AccurioPro workflow solution suite and cloud color management tools. Henceforth Konica Minolta’s commercial printing solutions will be known as AccurioPro, while the KM-1 will become AccurioJet KM-1.

“Accurio is a much bigger concept under which we have printing, post-printing as well as software solutions,” said Gupta “Today we are focusing more on the hardware side, but over the period of time we have increased our portfolios as well and so we are changing our branding. The requirements of the customers are changing and so we are looking at offering more to our customers,” said Yoshinori Koide, director – business planning, PP and IP marketing division, Konica Minolta India.

“The change is not initiate from our side. The customer demands and requirements are changing. In order to match ourselves to those changes, we have changed our brand in accordance with our increased product offerings,” said Daisuke Mori, managing director, Konica Minolta India.

Speaking about the Indian market, Mori said, “India is growing very fast and we have a lot of expectations from the Indian market. We are focusing on expanding our business here. That is the most important thing for us.”
