Janus International has installed Domino Inkjet Printing Solutions to enhance its offerings, marking a significant step in its commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction. The new Domino K600i print engine enables Janus to enhance labels with embellishments using UV-curable clear ink, digital cold foil and varnish. The Domino K600i can achieve speeds up to 150 meters per minute, facilitating variable data printing and adeptly managing specialized tasks such as digital decorations and secure printing using special inks.

Founded by the late Joe Annunciation in the 1990s, Janus International has evolved into a leader in the packaging industry, providing tailored solutions across various sectors including alco bev, cosmetics, and food industries. “We are not just a packaging printer; we are solution providers,” said Denver Annunciation, director, strategic initiatives at Janus International.

At the core of Janus International’s success is its relentless commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction. Janus Annunciation, Denver Annunciation, and their dedicated team have fostered a culture of creative thinking and ongoing enhancement, optimizing every facet of the business for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.

“Our focus has always been on understanding the unique challenges faced by our clients and delivering innovative, customized solutions that exceed their expectations,” said Janus Annunciation, whose foresight and daring decisions led Janus International to become the first company in India to install a digital label press in 2008, setting a new benchmark in the industry. “We took a risk, ventured into uncharted territories, and the rest is history.”

With a humble beginning as a corrugated business, Janus International swiftly transitioned into the realm of label printing, leveraging its founder’s expertise and commitment to excellence. Today, the company stands at the forefront of the industry, offering a wide array of services including pressure-sensitive labels, non-adhesive labels for beer bottles, monocartons, shrink sleeves, in-mold labels, and laminates.

Denver Annunciation added, “However, Janus International’s journey wouldn’t be complete without acknowledging the invaluable partnership with Domino Printech India. We sought a solution to enhance the look and feel of the labels, enhancing the overall value we deliver to customers. With a shared commitment to innovation and customer-centricity, Domino has been a pivotal ally in Janus International’s pursuit of excellence. Domino provided its customized Domino K600i print engine for embellishing our labels with UV-curable clear ink, capable of applying digital cold foil and digital varnish to achieve the desired aesthetic and tactile qualities for our customers.”

Ajay RaoRane, vice-president, Digital Printing Solutions at Domino India, said, “We are proud to collaborate with Janus International, a visionary company that shares our passion for innovation and customer satisfaction. The customized Domino K600i solution for embellishment applications was made possible by Janus International’s trust in Domino. We are confident in our ability to deliver the desired solution for their needs, reflecting a collaborative effort between both companies.”
