IM Group (formerly Inkmaker Group) has moved its UK operations, from Kettering and Newmarket to more spacious premises in Cambridgeshire, England.

The expansion of IM Group’s UK foothold comes on the back of increased business in the area since the recognized British brands – Rexson and Vale-tech – became part of IM Group in 2019. The new 3,000 sq. ft (270 sq m) premises will serve as the central hub for the group’s sales, customer service, and maintenance operations in the United Kingdom.

Martin Black, IM Group’s general manager for the UK, said, “The additional space will enable us to enhance our service offerings for our UK-based clientele. Moreover, the strategic location between Rexson’s former base in Kettering, Northamptonshire, and Vale-tech’s former location in Newmarket, Suffolk, will bring both teams together, optimizing logistics, resource management, and communication.”

Specializing in customizable integrated dispensing systems, filling lines, process-engineering equipment, and turn-key plant projects, IM Group caters to various industries such as paint, coatings, ink, chemicals, adhesives, packaging, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, textiles, and more through its brands; Inkmaker, Rexson, Vale-tech, Swesa, Teko, Tecnopails, and IEC+. With a global presence spanning 15 countries across 5 continents, the group works with a list of Fortune 500 companies including Boeing, Sherwin Williams, PPG, Akzo Nobel, Avery Denison, International Paper, and Tetra Pak amongst others.

“The growing client base in the UK has necessitated a restructuring of our brands to support expansion efforts. Consolidating our operations into a single, larger warehouse aligns with our logistical and financial objectives, offering clients a centralized hub for maintenance and parts,” remarked Christophe Rizzo, CEO of EMEA and Americas, IM Group, emphasizing the strategic move.
