The recently rebranded IM Group (previously Inkmaker Group) has started off the fourth quarter of 2021 by nominating Roll2Roll (R2R) as its new service agent and distributor for Russia.

Alfredo Ponzio, area sales manager and group head technician (EMEA) of IM Group was met by, Eduard Galperin, founder and general manager of Roll2Roll, recently in Moscow to finalize the contract that officially grants Roll2Roll total rights to represent IM Group and its brands in Russia in the inks and printing sectors, where they have many years of experience and knowledge of the market.

“We are honored. This is a significant move for both parties; IM Group is a recognized global leader carrying respected brands. It has grown tremendously and boosted its geographical presence through its recent acquisitions. It now boasts a portfolio of six brands that between them span the industries of paint, coatings, ink, specialty-chemicals, adhesives, corrugated packaging, flexible packaging, pharma, food, cosmetic, textiles and much more with Roll2Roll’s resources, network and in-depth intelligence of the local market we are well-positioned to expand IM Group’s reach in Russia even further,” highlighted Galperin.

“With over 70 installations, IM Group – through its brand Inkmaker – has always been a leader of integrated and automated ink-dispensing systems in Russia,” said Ponzio. “Now, with Roll2Roll’s collaboration, our market share is set to increase substantially.”

Roll2Roll – established in Moscow in 2003 – is a leading equipment, spare parts and consumables supplier for the labels and flexible packaging printing market, as well as for the production of corrugated cardboard and the processing of paper and film. It is known for its extensive experience in solving highly specialized problems in various industries and boasts over 150 installations and over 600 upgrades throughout its 18 years of operations.

“Roll2Roll is one of Russia’s foremost distributors and represents many leading international brands. We are confident that this union will boost IM GROUP’s expansion through Russia and benefit both parties significantly,” concluded Gianluca Incerti, commercial director of IM Group.

Roll2Roll will be attending the PAP-FOR trade fair in Moscow from 9-12 November 2021.
