[dropcaps style=’2′]Huhtamaki PPL has won 10 Indiastar awards for Excellence in Packaging, conferred by the Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP). The awards were presented to HPPL at a function held recently in New Delhi. The Indiastar Award is a national award for excellence in packaging, which is highly sought after by companies specialized in packaging, design and development.[/dropcaps]
A panel of eminent personalities from prestigious institutions (like IIP, IIT, NID and JJ School of Arts), government bodies and the packaging industry selected the award winners from a total of 622 entries. The winning of an Indiastar Award is a pre-requisite for competing in global awards like Asiastar and Worldstar.
HPPL was also honored with ‘Special Achievement of Excellence in Packaging’ for its unprecedented show in winning a total of 10 Indiastar awards.
The winning entries were from HPPL’s innovations across flexibles, thermoforms, pouching and labeling portfolio. The entries were nominated across three main categories, viz. Consumer Packaging, Food Packaging and Packaging Materials to showcase HPPL’s capabilities in designing packaging solutions with distinct aesthetic appeal, insight-driven value engineering, specialized profiles, improved functionality and consumer convenience.
