At Labelexpo Europe 2025 in Barcelona (September 16-19, Stand 4D19), hubergroup Print Solutions will demonstrate visitors how its innovative ink solutions unite these qualities. The company will present its latest developments for flexo printing alongside its established, versatile portfolio – from inks, varnishes and laminating adhesives to a broad range of services.

iray is hubergroup’s flagship for label printing. The UV flexo series is a comprehensive and finely tuned system of primers, laminating adhesives, inks, and varnishes designed to work seamlessly together. Available for both food and non-food applications, the series covers a wide range of applications from self-adhesive labels and shrink sleeves to pouches. Customers benefit from exceptional scratch resistance, strong adhesion, low odour, and high yield. Furthermore, hubergroup ensured that iray products meet deinkability standards on both film and paper, supporting circularity in packaging.

At Labelexpo 2025, hubergroup’s experts will be available to discuss all aspects of UV flexo printing – whether customers are considering a new ink supplier, optimizing their production process, or making the switch to LED technology. Darren Hallett, Director Europe Business Development UV Flexo at hubergroup, says, “We will be happy to advise label printers on how they will achieve high-resolution print results with our iray products and will explain how we ensure a smooth implementation of our ink system in their production. Our solutions not only boost production efficiency but also contribute to more sustainable printing results.”

Visitors to Labelexpo 2025 will also learn about hubergroup’s innovative HYDRO-X portfolio for water-based flexo and gravure printing. Thanks to its modular ink mixing system – consisting of concentrates, blends, and additives – HYDRO-X enables tailor-made solutions across packaging substrates such as paper, cardboard, aluminium, and plastic film. A highlight in this segment are the water-based barrier coatings, which improve the oxygen or water and grease resistance of mono-material packaging.

Completing the lineup is Gecko, hubergroup’s trusted solvent-based series, known for reliability and excellent printability. It covers a multitude of applications with a minimum of components. To help customers design recyclable packaging with these solvent-based inks, hubergroup offers various options: the PU-based Gecko Platinum series, NC-based printing within the thresholds using NC-free White, and NC-based printing combined with a deinking primer so that the inks can be easily removed.

In addition, the company emphasizes personal dialogue and tailored solutions. Darren Hallett says, “At Labelexpo 2025, we’re not only showing products – we’re offering a partnership. With our holistic, sustainable portfolio and strong service focus, we help printers face today’s challenges and seize tomorrow’s opportunities. That’s why being in direct conversation with our partners at events like Labelexpo is so important to us. We look forward to inspiring talks in Barcelona.”
