Holostik showcases anti-counterfeiting and sustainable packaging solutions at PackPlus 2026

-

Holostik India, a provider of anti-counterfeiting, brand protection and supply chain authentication solutions, participated in PackPlus 2026, held from 20–22 August at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

As packaging shifts from a conventional product enclosure toward a strategic touchpoint for security, connectivity, sustainability and consumer engagement, the company used the platform to present its approach to bringing these elements together through its conference participation and exhibition presence.

At the PackPlus conference, Ankit Gupta, joint managing director, Holostik, took part in the session ‛A Futuristic Package: AI-Embedded Packaging Design’, which examined the changing role of packaging in an increasingly connected marketplace and how emerging technologies could enable packaging to deliver added functionality, security and consumer engagement.

With counterfeiting methods becoming more sophisticated, the company noted that packaging is also emerging as a layer of brand protection, with technologies such as authentication features, secure labels, digital identification and track-and-trace capabilities said to help brands strengthen product integrity while enabling consumers and supply chain stakeholders to verify and engage with products.

Sustainability was another area of focus for the company at the event. Ankit Gupta, founder and managing director, NaturTrust, a Holostik Group company, shared his views during the session ‛Thinking Beyond the Bin: Sustainable Packaging Replacing Plastics for Good?’, held on 20 August, which addressed the industry’s shift toward alternatives to conventional plastics and the need for packaging solutions that balance environmental responsibility with functionality, performance and protection. Through NaturTrust, the company said it is expanding its focus on sustainable packaging solutions intended to help brands explore plastic alternatives while maintaining the performance requirements of modern packaging applications.

Priyanka Rahi, head of marketing communications, Holostik, also participated in a panel discussion on sustainable and flexible packaging, contributing to the company’s broader engagement with industry stakeholders on packaging and sustainability.

At the event, Holostik and NaturTrust presented their offerings to brand owners, packaging professionals, converters and supply chain stakeholders over the 3-day exhibition. Holostik showcased its portfolio of anti-counterfeiting and brand protection technologies, including security solutions intended to help brands authenticate products, deter counterfeiting and strengthen supply chain security, along with the integration of physical and digital technologies aimed at creating more connected and traceable product journeys. NaturTrust presented sustainable and plastic-alternative packaging offerings, reflecting what the company described as a growing convergence between security, functionality and sustainability in packaging solutions.
