Heidelberg Annual General Meeting approves all proposed resolutions

-

At the virtual Annual General Meeting of Heidelberg for fiscal year 2025/26, approximately 23 percent of the Heidelberg share capital was represented. In a live webcast, the Executive Board explained the company’s strategy, the financial results for the past fiscal year (1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026), and the outlook to shareholders.

In the past fiscal year, Heidelberg successfully drove the company’s further development through its own efforts and laid the foundation for a sustainable improvement in earnings through increased efficiency and consistent cost reductions. At the same time, key strategic initiatives were implemented to further expand the company’s market position in its core business and to establish HD Advanced Technologies as an additional growth area. Heidelberg will consistently continue this course in the current fiscal year and vigorously drive forward the implementation of its strategic priorities.

In his speech at the Annual General Meeting, CEO Jürgen Otto said, “In fiscal year 2025/26, we made significant progress in advancing the strategic direction of Heidelberg. Through HD Advanced Technologies, we are tapping into attractive, less cyclical markets, thereby creating additional growth prospects for the company. At the same time, we have further strengthened our position in our core business by expanding our role as a systems integrator and through targeted M&A activities. This enables us to offer our customers highly automated end-to-end solutions in packaging and commercial printing. Through consistent cost discipline and best-cost production, we are laying the groundwork for further margin improvements and the sustainable, successful development of Heidelberg.”

The core business benefits from the strong global market position of Heidelberg, one of the industry’s largest sales and service networks, and a broad installed base of customers around the world. The recent acquisition of manroland sheetfed’s global sales and service companies is opening additional customer opportunities and creating new revenue and earnings potential, particularly in service and consumables.

Through HD Advanced Technologies, the company is strategically expanding its business based on its proven technological and industrialization expertise. This also opens attractive market opportunities outside the printing market.

At the annual shareholders’ meeting, the company’s shareholders were asked to vote on four of the five agenda items. The shareholders approved all agenda items.
