HCCB launches high-speed Kinley water production line in Telangana

-

Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverage (HCCB), one of India’s leading FMCG companies, has commissioned a first-of-its-kind high-speed Kinley Water Production Line at its manufacturing facility at Avinya (TGF – Telangana Greenfield Factory) in Telangana. Avinya Plant is located at Banda Thimmapur in Siddipet district and is one of HCCB’s most advanced manufacturing facilities. Built on a 49-acre site with a total planned investment of over INR 2,000 crore, the plant currently operates seven advanced production lines and represents a major addition to the company’s manufacturing ecosystem in the region.

Among one of the most advanced packaged drinking water production lines in the country, the facility now ranks as the fastest within the Coca-Cola India Southwest Asia (INSWA) system [in terms of the production capacity in BPM]. The newly installed line can produce Kinley 500 ml PET bottles at a speed of up to 1,350 bottles per minute (BPM) and Kinley 1-litre PET bottles at 1,000 BPM, setting a new benchmark for manufacturing speed, operational efficiency, and precision production capacity.

The high-speed production line is built on an integrated automation framework designed to deliver enhanced operational visibility, process precision, and manufacturing consistency across production cycles.

The line features a state-of-the-art water purification system equipped with mineral injection and ozonisation technology to maintain stringent quality standards. It also incorporates advanced lamella pack technology, enabling up to 90% water recovery, reinforcing the company’s commitment to resource efficiency and responsible water management.

An integrated Human–Machine Interface (HMI) enables centralized monitoring and improved process control, enhancing production consistency and operational reliability. The new line is also equipped with an advanced dosing system, improving packaging stability and extending product integrity.

Additionally, the equipment has been optimized for energy efficiency, with real-time monitoring capabilities designed to minimize downtime and enable quicker changeovers, allowing for greater manufacturing flexibility and responsiveness to market demand.

Speaking on the commissioning of the new production line, Avinash Kant Kumar, head – integrated supply chain, Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB), said, “Avinya sets a new national benchmark in beverage manufacturing by merging high-tech automation with sustainable resource management. The launch of our Kinley production line, the fastest in the Coca-Cola INSWA system marks a big milestone for HCCB. This facility reinforces our commitment to Telangana’s industrial growth and our dedication to world-class operational excellence.”

The commissioning of the new line further strengthens HCCB’s manufacturing ecosystem and enhances the capacity of Avinya facility, supporting the company’s continued focus on building an agile, technology-led, and future-ready supply chain.

The facility complements HCCB’s existing plant in Ameenpur, Sangareddy district, and together they reflect the company’s growing investment in Telangana, generating employment for over 1,000 individuals across the state.
