Galvomaster’s RM Series solvent recovery systems claim up to 95% recovery rate

-

Galvomaster, a manufacturer of solvent recovery systems, offers solutions designed to help industries reduce solvent consumption, minimize waste, lower operating costs and support sustainable growth. The company’s systems serve the flexible packaging, flexo trade shop, CI flexo printing, gravure printing, ink manufacturing, paint and coating, and pharmaceutical industries.

According to the company, Galvomaster systems are designed to recover up to 95% of solvent, depending on the solvent, waste composition and operating conditions. By recovering and reusing solvents, industries can reduce fresh-solvent consumption and solvent waste while improving resource efficiency, the company said.

The company’s RM series of solvent recovery systems ranges from the RM-50 to the RM-1000, covering capacities from 50 to 1,000 liters. Among the range, the RM-200 is said to be one of the company’s more preferred and popular models, offering a balance of recovery capacity, operating efficiency, compact footprint and investment for a range of industrial applications. The RM series is available with ATEX and CE certifications, supporting safe operation for international applications.

The solvent recovery process involves used or contaminated solvent undergoing controlled distillation, followed by vacuum distillation where required, and then efficient condensation to yield recovered solvent for reuse. Galvomaster’s technology separates solvent from inks, resins, coatings and other contaminants, allowing the recovered solvent to be reused in applications where its recovered quality meets requirements.

The company said its systems are engineered to help customers recover up to 95% of solvent depending on application, reduce fresh-solvent consumption, reduce solvent-waste disposal, recover resources, reduce environmental impact, improve operating economics and support sustainable manufacturing.

Since solvent recovery involves flammable materials, safety is a fundamental requirement of the process. Galvomaster systems incorporate safety and process-control features and are available with ATEX and CE certifications, depending on the model and configuration.
