Following the resounding success of Pamex 2023, the promotional juggernaut for Pamex 2024 has kicked into high gear. This biennial exhibition is making a unique return just a year after its last edition to align with its original scheduling in the first quarter of even years. The decision was prompted by Print Pack Expo’s move to its traditional odd-year schedule, announcing its next edition in 2025. The Pamex team has been working tirelessly, participating in major industry-specific trade events worldwide as a crucial part of their promotional strategy.
Immediately after Pamex 2023, the team took part in the Mumbai Mudrak Sangh Lifetime Achievement Award ceremony held in April in Mumbai. There, they joined the celebration honoring industry veteran Anand Limaye and engaged with industry experts gathered for the event.
Building on the theme of Convergence, Pamex 2024 is placing a special emphasis on textile printing. In May, the team connected with numerous textile printing machinery manufacturers during the Gartex Mumbai event co-located with Screen Print India in Mumbai. The team also attended events such as Garment Technology Expo Delhi, Sitex Surat, Gartex Delhi, and Yarn Expo Tirupur to gain deeper insights into the textile industry.
The signage industry has been an integral part of Pamex for several editions. The Pamex team actively participated in the Sign India Expo in Bangalore, engaging with visitors to understand market demands and requirements.
In July 2023, Pamex had a promotional stand at Sino Corrugated China, offering insights into global developments in the corrugated packaging industry.
Print-Packaging.com, co-organizer of Pamex, served as a media partner for the LMAI Conference in Jaipur held in July. This conference, themed around ‘Creativity, Innovation, Sustainability,’ brought together over 500 delegates from the label industry for three days of networking and knowledge sharing.
August was a bustling month, starting with Print Expo in Chennai and followed by Propak India and Automation Expo in Mumbai. Pamex also had a stand at PackPlus Delhi. In September, Pamex continued its promotional efforts at PackPrint International in Bangkok, India Corr Expo in Greater Noida, and Kerala Print & Pack in Cochin.
Looking ahead to October, Pamex will have a stand at Sri Lanka Print 2023 and will make a presentation at the prestigious Forum of Asia Pacific Graphic Arts (FAPGA) meet, where printers from over 16 member countries will converge. In November, Pamex will feature a promotional stand at All in Print China, as well as visiting FESPA Eurasia and Interdye & Textile Printing Eurasia in Istanbul, Turkey.
Pamex 2024 is scheduled to take place from 6-9 February 2024, at the Bombay Exhibition Centre (BEC) in Mumbai. According to the organizer, the event will showcase more than 500 exhibitors from various sectors, including print, label, flexible packaging, corrugated box manufacturing, textile printing, and the signage industry.
