Flint Group has announced the appointment of Dr Pablo Steenwinkel as EMEA technical director, flexible packaging. Dr Steenwinkel joins Flint Group on 1 May 2017 from Avery Dennison, where he is currently R&D director for Europe and member of their European leadership team. With a strong background in organic and inorganic chemistry and with his key area of expertise in polymer chemistry related to inks, coatings and adhesives, he brings a passion for success and team collaboration to this crucial position.

Commenting on the new member of her leadership team, VP of sales and global strategy for the flexible packaging business, Dagmar Schmidt said “Dr Steenwinkel will be responsible for the technical management team in Europe; a key role that will drive our ambitious product development and technical service excellence strategy.
