Global Graphics Machineries, distributor for Weigang in India, has secured a deal with Flen Labels, Ahmedabad, for the machine that will be showcased at Labelexpo India 2024. The machine will be on display at the event, taking place from 14-17 November 2024, at the India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida, Delhi NCR.

Zhejiang Weigang Technology has established itself as a significant player in the global label printing, converting, and finishing equipment market. With a workforce of around 400 people, Weigang operates a large facility spanning 135,000 square meters. Its advanced production plant manufactures equipment incorporating modern technologies. Weigang has exported its machines to over 90 countries and has sold more than 3,000 semi-rotary and intermittent web-offset presses, along with 500 modular in-line shaftless servo flexo presses featuring innovative sleeve technology.

The Weigang ZJR-450G flexo printing machine is a versatile machine with modern design, having a unique print sleeves system that eliminates the gears from the printing unit, thereby giving superior printing results while the light-weighted print sleeves also facilitate easy handling, storage, and changeovers. Equipped with dual European servo motors on each printing unit, the machine is suitable for running in 2nd pass with accurate register. Cold foil stamping attachment with its noteworthy foil-saving mechanism coupled with multi-layer lamination as well as auto-switchover from Hot Air Dryer to IR Drying as per job curing requirements, enhances the value proposition of this 10-color machine.

Ahmedabad-based Flen Labels is part of Fortune Labels Enterprise Group, a leading label producer and exporter of specialty labels and packaging. Apart from printing on regular substrates like paper, PVC, BOPP, PET & PE, and metalized paper, Flen Labels has expertise in printing shrink sleeves, lamitubes, in-mold labels, duplex boards with distinctive features and embellishments. IML has been a forte of the company.

“We made a head start into the label printing industry with Weigang machines more than a decade ago, and gratified with the decision. The support services from Global Graphics has been unpinning and awe-inspiring. Our Weigang ZJR-350G Flexo Press is a production work-horse running at around 150 m/min for most of our jobs,” says Akshat Bapna of Fortune Labels Enterprise Group.

Nishal Dapki of Fortune Labels Enterprise group further adds, “Our journey with the Weigang ZJR-350G Flexo Press, with its distinguishing print sleeves system, has been plain sailing and fantabulous. We are aggressive on the in-mold Labels, and a 10-color flexo press in 450 mm width became essential. Thus, when searching for another flexo machine, choosing Weigang was an easy and clear decision.”

Nalin Sharma, director, Global Graphics Machineries, says, “We are thankful to Fortune Labels group for their unwavering loyalty and unflinching patronage to Weigang’s flexographic printing machines. They’ve made a good choice to augment their capacity and create newer capabilities with the 450 mm width Weigang flexo press as they propel forward into the growing IML segment.”

With a strong 25-year presence in India, Weigang has established over 1,200 installations, serving more than 350 customers across nearly 80 locations nationwide. Weigang’s printing, converting, and finishing machines are highly regarded by leading Indian label and hologram converters, known for their precision, quality, and consistent performance.
