FIG with principals shows success at LMAI Conference 2025

-

Flexo Image Graphics (FIG), a leading distributor and service provider of flexo presses and associated equipment from the world’s leading brands in the Indian subcontinent, has unfolded its story of successful 25 years of journey in the printing and packaging industry at LMAI Conference 2025, held under the theme ‘Emerging Beyond Boundaries’ on 3-6 July 2025 at Fairmont Udaipur Palace in Udaipur. FIG represents Mark Andy, Rhyguan, Luster, Rotoflex, Presstek, Maxcess, KDS, Eson Flexible Dies, DYM Machinery, and XSYS.

“It’s a great honour to be here at LMAI Conference 2025 where Label Manufactures Association of India (LMAI) celebrates its 25 Years Anniversary, at the same time, we also mark our Silver Jubilee this year,” says Gourav Roy, managing director of Flexo Image Graphics, in his keynote speech. He recounts how FIG started its journey with cordial cooperation from a handful of helpful principals and all-time supportive clients over the years.

Roy narrates, “After working at EAC Graphics and Heidelberg for seven years, I started FIG in the year 2000 as a sole representative of Mark Andy in India which was earlier dealt by Heidelberg in the country. Supports which I received from my early customers at that point of time are still valued to me. Since then, it has been a great and progressive journey for FIG during which I keep learning from our convertor friends and many others from the industry.”

Further recounting the reminiscence of FIG’s early days, Roy says, “I still remember the then period, when I was pretty young, started selling Mark Andy 830 to some prominent companies who remain our loyal and longstanding customers till today. For example, Sivakasi’s Graphic Reproduction Syndicate (GRS), which has installed multiple units of Mark Andy presses, is the first buyer of Performance Series from FIG.” So far, FIG has installed 300 Mark Andy presses across the Indian subcontinent.

Alongside Mark Andy, FIG is expanding its installation base of other machines from Rhyguan, Luster, Presstek, etc. “Wonder Pac India in Sonipat is the first adopter of our Rhyguan machine. In fact, we are privileged to serve customers who are prominent players in the industry and satisfied with our machines and service,” says Roy. Just recently, FIG has marked the milestone of 100th Rhyguan machine installation in India.

Present for the first time at LMAI Conference this year, Florian Stroe, sales manager, Mark Andy Inc, excitedly says, “Namaste! It’s great to be here today at LMAI Conference 2025, my first participation.” He brought on stage a flashback of Mark Andy’s 75 years old glorious history, advanced machines, presence in 93 countries, 10,000 machine installations, 5,700 customers, and so on. “After all, congratulations to FIG for their achievements and thank you for being our partner,” he asserts.

Another principal of FIG at LMAI Conference 2025, Luster sheds spotlight on its advanced AI-enabled inspection systems, designed for both flexo and digital presses. Roy says, “Among our new milestones, we offer spare parts and training programmes. In application training, we train operators so that machines shouldn’t be stopped. We travel across the subcontinent to conduct maintenance conferences – our response time in India is 24 hours and 48 hours for Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.”

Roy concludes, “Thanks LMAI for bringing the trending innovations, technologies, and industry leaders all together on one stage. We look forward for more.”
