Esko to display Kongsberg X24 cutting table at IndiaCorr Expo 2016

-

At IndiaCorr Expo – SinoCorrugated 2016 scheduled for 8 to 10 September 2016 at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon East in Mumbai, India, Esko will be showcasing its latest Kongsberg X24 cutting table. The Kongsberg X series is a cutting table that offers value, reliability, precision and ease of use at an attractive investment level for companies in carton and corrugation that produce samples, packaging, displays and mock-ups and other packaging specific markets looking to complement their offerings with productive digital finishing.

Esko will demonstrate the Kongsberg X24 cutting table for carton and corrugation samplemaking, short-run production of mock-ups and other packaging applications. The Kongsberg X series sign cutting machine comes with a wide range of specialty tools, which offer speed, power and flexibility to automatically handle a wide variety of materials, such as corrugated, folding carton, solid board, foam, coating blankets, wood and a long list of plastics.

i-cut Suite
i-cut Suite is software that lets sign and display companies streamline their workflows. It preflights and edits incoming PDF files, ensuring that jobs will RIP and print correctly. It also helps build and edit sheet layouts, ensuring that jobs make the optimum use of substrates through intelligent true shape nesting and tiling. Kongsberg table technology ensures that die-less cutting contours match printed images perfectly, registering the actual dimensions and positioning cuts on the printed result.

With Automation Engine, all of these functions are automated in a single workflow, with less operator intervention. In a more commoditized market, sign and display shops are also realizing that unique 3D display projects offer higher margins. More and more companies are investing in ArtiosCAD for structural design. ArtiosCAD has an extensive library of resizeable display designs to help designers so they do not have to start from scratch designing new displays.
