Epson to showcase smart color labeling for organic foods at Expo West 2026

Epson will exhibit at the 45th annual Natural Products Expo West event, located at the Anaheim Convention Center from 4-6 March 2026. At its stand 2906, Epson will showcase its ColorWorks on-demand color label printer portfolio, demonstrating how organic and natural brands can stay agile, look premium, be cost-effective, and support sustainability goals in labeling and packaging operations.

According to the company, ColorWorks color label printers deliver highly durable, full-color labels for natural and organic food and consumer packaged goods (CPG) and provide flexibility and reliability that brands and businesses need. On-demand, one-step color label printing can help food and CPG brands simplify packaging operations, reduce production time and maintain consistent, high-quality labeling.

“By printing labels on demand, only as needed, brands can reduce waste, shorten lead times, lower labeling costs, and maintain accurate, compliant labeling while staying flexible as products and regulations evolve,” said Connie Kuo, product manager, Epson America. “The shift to digital color label solutions helps support flexibility, sustainability goals and marketability, granting businesses the capability to print labels, package and sell products all on the same day.”

Epson will showcase its on-demand color labeling and packaging portfolio across different production scales. The compact CW-C4000 supports short-run and limited-edition label printing, while the CW-C6500A (up to 8-inch labels with metallic media support) and high-speed CW-C8000 are designed for mid- to high-volume batch production. For bottled products, the LabelMate Botlr applicator enables automated label application.

The company will also demonstrate real-time in-store labeling using a ColorWorks printer integrated with an Ishida weigh scale and a mobile cart, and present Label Boost software paired with the CW-C6000P, enabling businesses to print promotions, coupons and QR codes directly onto shipping labels to utilize existing label space.
