DQ Pack launches custom retort stand-up pouch with spout for food packaging

-

DQ Pack has introduced a custom OEM 125°C retort stand-up pouch with spout, expanding its range of flexible packaging solutions designed for high-temperature food processing applications. The pouch is engineered to withstand sterilization temperatures of up to 125°C under pressure, making it suitable for use with a wide range of food products, including ready-to-eat meals, soups, sauces, baby food, and liquid foods.

DQ Pack developed the pouch to combine the shelf stability traditionally associated with canned food packaging with the convenience and functionality of a flexible, self-supporting pouch. The integrated spout is designed to support controlled pouring and resealing, enhancing usability for consumers while maintaining product integrity throughout the distribution cycle.

According to product information released by the company, the retort stand-up pouch is constructed using multi-layer materials that allow it to endure high-temperature sterilization while preserving its structural strength and performance. The packaging format enables extended shelf life without the need for refrigeration, supporting food manufacturers that require stable storage and efficient logistics.

The pouch format also aligns with the growing adoption of flexible retort packaging as an alternative to metal cans and glass jars. Its lightweight structure and space-efficient design can help improve transportation efficiency and handling across the supply chain, while maintaining compatibility with established retort processing methods.

DQ Pack positions the custom OEM 125°C retort stand-up pouch with spout as a solution for food brands seeking packaging that meets stringent thermal processing requirements while offering modern convenience and functionality. The product forms part of the company’s broader portfolio of flexible packaging options developed for food manufacturers operating in demanding processing and distribution environments.
