The Indian market has been growing at a rapid rate. The startup ecosystem is also bolstering the need for a quick supply of labels and packaging materials to enable faster go-to-market. Brand owners are also experimenting with variants and varieties, which has increased the demand for smaller quantities of packaging material and labels.
These market dynamics propelled the demand for more color digital hybrid label printing presses in India and several traditional flexo press manufacturers felt the need to provide hybrid options to their customers.
