Colordyne Technologies announces a strategic partnership with Mark Andy as an exclusive distributor of the Colordyne 3600 Series digital print technology, on Mark Andy legacy press models including 2200 and 4150 platforms, in the Americas label converting market. The move leverages Colordyne and Mark Andy’s combined strength in the narrow web label space to deliver affordable, high performance digital printing solutions to the label converting industry.

“We are excited to partner with one of the most respected companies in the printing industry. Mark Andy is a 70-year strong industry leader known for offering complete end-to-end solutions to meet the growing needs of converters,” said Brian Connolly, vice president of sales and marketing, Colordyne Technologies.

Colordyne’s 3600 Series enhancement brings together highly productive print speeds of up to 500 feet per minute, paired with the industry’s smallest droplet size of one picoliter. The Colordyne platform is a high performance, high resolution 4-color process digital printing solution that can be easily integrated onto flexographic printing presses.

Colordyne’s 3600 Series technology utilizes Memjet Waterfall Printhead Technology. This represents a clear improvement over existing inkjet, laser and LED architectures and offers a compelling choice for printing and imaging customers.

“Colordyne’s water based inkjet platform complements our Digital Series UV inkjet and flexo hybrid solution and our new toner-based Digital One press, both of which offer printing and in-line converting functionality for the prime label market. As a total solutions partner we are excited to further enhance our digital label offering,” said Greg Palm, executive vice president of business development, Mark Andy. “Many of our existing customers have already reported great success integrating Colordyne’s digital printing solutions onto legacy Mark Andy 2200 presses.”

Colordyne Technologies believes Mark Andy will continue their tradition of success in providing the label and packaging markets with the best solutions that incorporate high quality technical innovations and drive customer profitability.

“Our 3600 Series will be a great addition to Mark Andy’s line up of digital solutions. We have always seen a large opportunity to provide production scale digital to the existing install base of narrow web label converters in North America,” Connolly said.

Colordyne strives to provide continuous innovation, flexibility, service and support to ensure its customers a responsive, long-term investment in digital color printing. The company will be on Stand 6145 at Labelexpo.Americas 2016 with live product demonstrations of Colordyne Technologies complete product line. The Colordyne 3600 Series will also be showcased on the Mark Andy Stand 319 of Labelexpo Americas 2016, rounding out their complete offering of digital printing solutions for the label and packaging industry.
