Komori Corporation made a splash at drupa 2024, showcasing its impressive brand value and the core competencies of its products, technologies, and services. A highlight of its success was the significant sales of presses to key customers worldwide, including a notable contingent from India. One prominent buyer was Chennai-based RS Graphics, a commercial printing and packaging powerhouse with five decades of industry experience.

RS Graphics, renowned for its production of marketing collaterals, labels, cartons, tags, and more, secured a new Komori Lithrone GL740+C UV IR. “This is the first brand new Komori press to be installed at our production facility,” said VB Sridharan, managing partner at RS Graphics.

Sridharan elaborated on the decision, stating, “After an extensive search for an offset press that could elevate our print quality, we chose the Komori Lithrone GL740 with UV coater. We planned this purchase for drupa 2024, selecting this press for its exceptional features and capacity that align perfectly with our needs. Its speed, print quality, and overall productivity make the Komori GL740 an ideal choice for us.”

The Komori Lithrone GL740 boasts a maximum printing speed of 16,500 sheets per hour and handles a wide range of ultra-thin and thick sheets up to 750x1050mm. Jitender Rohilla, general manager-sales at Komori India, noted that RS Graphics’ purchase at drupa 2024 signifies the trust and value Indian customers place in Komori’s brand and machines.

RS Graphics’ state-of-the-art 90,000 sqft facility features an extensive array of prepress, press, and postpress machines from industry leaders like Kodak, Heidelberg, Mitsubishi, Zhongke, Esko, and Bobst. “The new Komori Lithrone GL740 will enhance our UV printing capabilities to new levels,” concluded Sridharan.

Komori Corporation is showcasing its key products and innovations at Stand E02 in Hall 15 at drupa 2024.
