Brilliant Polymers has won IFCA Star Awards 2018 for two of its innovative products – Brilliant H266 and Brilliant S715. Brilliant Polymers was officially awarded on 6 February 2019, at the MIG Club, Bandra. The company was the gold sponsors for the IFCA Star Award 2018.

The IFCA Star Award function was well attended by leading names in the flexible packaging, folding carton and allied industries like inks, adhesives, films, polymers, machinery and many others. Nikhil Joshi, managing director, Sapat Group was the chief guest at the IFCA Star Awards 2019. The event was also marked by the presence of Suresh Gupta, former chairman HPPL and RR Maheshwari, IFCA vice president.

Many companies from flexible packaging, carton packaging, innovations in adhesives, inks, coatings, films, polymers, along with R&D achievements in packaging won the awards. Brilliant Polymers won two IFCA Star awards for innovations in the adhesives segment.

Brilliant Polymers’ winning entry, Brilliant H266 along with its respective hardener is a solvent-based two component polyurethane laminating adhesive for flexible packaging and industrial applications. Brilliant H266 offers high green and cured bond strength and optical clarity, as well as excellent heat and chemical resistance properties. This product has very quickly captured the solvent base market and is very highly appreciated by the converters in flexible packaging industry.

Brilliant S715 is a moisture curing single component solvent-free polyurethane adhesive for flexible packaging, graphic arts and other industrial applications. Brilliant S715 offers good bond strength and optical clarity, as well as good heat and chemical resistance properties. It adheres to a wide range of printed and unprinted substrates and is specifically designed for lamination of paper and board to aluminum foil and printed or unprinted films. The single component solventfree adhesive has also quickly won over the customers and has captured the market in very less time.
