Bericap brings easyconnect cap to market

EasyConnect CTS SK 63/40 SFB MDR EPE/PET

Bericap, a leading global manufacturer of plastic closures, has announced the industrial availability of the easyconnect cap solution, a closed transfer system (CTS) for the European agricultural industry. As the selected key development partner for the easyconnect working group, Bericap has contributed its expertise to developing a closed transfer system that ensures contamination-free transfer of crop protection products, and meets industry standards for safety, efficiency, and sustainability.

With its easyconnect-ready portfolio, Bericap ensures compatibility with its entire product range: As the easyconnect neck SK 63 SFB is a one-neck concept, it’s compatible with the standard Bericap solutions and accommodates additional accessories, such as handles and opening wrenches, to enhance usability.

The easyconnect solution was recognized with the Pack the Future Award for Sustainable Packaging Innovations (2023) for its contribution to waste reduction, packaging security, and user convenience. This acknowledgment highlights the system’s role in advancing safe and sustainable agricultural practices.

With commercialization now underway, easyconnect is positioned to meet regulatory requirements in the Netherlands and Denmark by 2026, with further adoption anticipated in Belgium, Spain, and the UK. Alongside its European rollout of easyconnect CTS, Bericap supplies the Securalink™ CTS to markets outside Europe, currently in North America.
