Ashok Digital installs Konica Minolta AccurioShine

Kolkata-based Ashok Digital has installed the Konica Minolta AccurioShine 3600 and AccurioShine 101 to expand its UV and foil printing capabilities. The investment, the company said, was driven by growing customer demand for value-added print applications.

Founded in 2006 by Sudip Majhi, Ashok Digital began as a digital printing company built on the foundation of his father’s offset printing business. Majhi said he established the company to capitalize on opportunities in the evolving digital print market.

“Over the years, I have consistently invested in advanced printing technologies and machinery to expand our capabilities and stay ahead of the evolving market demands. These investments have enabled us to transform Ashok Digital into a modern print solutions provider, delivering high-quality, innovative, and value-added services to our customers,” said Majhi.

According to Majhi, Konica Minolta was selected as a technology partner for its reliability and print quality, particularly for UV and foil applications. Ashok Digital also uses Xerox printing systems as part of its digital production infrastructure.

“While evaluating printing solutions, we found Konica Minolta to be the strongest option in terms of reliability and output quality. The UV and foil capabilities produced by the AccurioShine 3600 and AccurioShine 101 machines are consistently impressive and help us deliver premium value to our customers. The technology has strengthened our ability to offer differentiated applications and meet the growing demand for high-impact printing solutions,” Majhi said.

The company expects the new installations to support business growth through increased customer demand and higher utilization of the systems.
