Arvind Rub-Web Controls displayed its range of products at the Plastasia 2022 exhibition, 20 – 23 April 2022, at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, India. “By participating in this exhibition, we are trying to reach out to our existing and potential customers. We have recently developed our carbon fiber air shaft and carbon fiber rollers that are built on foreign technology – we are promoting those with our other products at the exhibition,” said Jigish Patel of Arvind Rub-Web Controls.

Patel said that the carbon fiber air shaft is fabricated using high-strength carbon fibers and comes in ultra-lightweight. “The lightweight of the shaft helps reduce changeover time and manpower drastically,” Patel said.

The second product, carbon fiber roller, is 8 to 10 times stronger than steel and aluminum, Patel said. “The carbon fiber roller facilitates faster web speed, reduced vibration and decreased waste.”

Patel said that they received a good response at the exhibition. “It feels good to participate again in an in-person exhibition after the Covid. Physical exhibitions are necessary and is fun, and cannot be compared to online versions.” Arvind Rub-Web is also planning to exhibit at the K-Show, 19 – 26 October 2022, in Germany.

In addition to the packaging industry, Arvind Rub-Web also caters its products to the textile, paper, plywood and laminates, steel and tyre industries. Patel shared that its packaging segment was not affected much during the Covid and did reasonably well compared to its other verticals.
