ALPLA has launched a foam dispenser pump made of mono-material polypropylene, expanding its portfolio with a recyclable, single-variety option for personal care and pharmaceutical products. The patented, metal-free system weighs 25 grams in its standard version and, with its twistlock function, saves space during transport and on the shelf. The company’s injection moulding division, ALPLAinject, will present the pump at Beautyworld Middle East in Dubai from 6 to 8 October 2026.

With this product, ALPLA is adding another category to its pump portfolio; the company already offers several mono-material dispenser versions. “Premium care products deserve high-quality and well-designed packaging. The dispenser is the most important point of contact. We can offer our customers a tailor-made, durable and, for the first time, recyclable solution for foamers,” said Sree Hari R Nair, global head of business pumps and devices at ALPLAinject. Following a pilot phase, ALPLA plans to work with anchor customers for commercial production.

With the mono-material foam dispenser, the company states it is already meeting future regulatory requirements. The system is suitable for bottles of various volume sizes and is available in a standard version with a range of customization options; customers can choose the color and shape of the head and closure, and reduce the ecological footprint through the use of post-consumer recycled (PCR) material.

The product builds on the success of ALPLA’s mono-material dispenser pump line and reflects the ambitions of its injection moulding division, ALPLAinject. “We are always striving for better solutions for people and the environment. With our mono-material foam dispenser, we are pushing the technical boundaries and supporting major brand manufacturers in their sustainability goals,” said Michael Feltes, managing director of ALPLAinject. The company said the recyclable system also strengthens the circular economy in national markets.
