Actega merges German operations to form unified entity

-

Actega, manufacturer of specialty coatings, inks, adhesives, sealants and compounds for the print and packaging industry, has announced the legal merger of its three German operating companies, Actega DS, Actega Rhenania and Actega Terra, into its former parent company, Actega. The merger will result in Actega forming one powerful entity, with realigned organizational structures enabling increased cross-location cooperation in Germany.

“The merger of these German locations will also bring many advantages for our customers and partners,” says Thorsten Kröller, president division Actega and chairman of the management board Actega. “We will pool existing expertise and strengthen our innovative capabilities. Cross-location processes and easier exchange of expert knowledge will create synergies under this unified approach. Each production site will be developed further, building on its specific focus and strengths. Our customers’ familiar contact persons and their responsibilities will remain the same.”

Dr Wolfgang Josten, managing director of Actega alongside Thorsten Kröller, adds, “The joint planning of the new organization has fostered a great deal of mutual understanding and close cooperation. I am very confident that this foundation is solid and that we are well equipped to further develop our locations as one entity.”
