Signode to feature new stretch wrapper at Pack Expo 2025

-

Signode, a leading global manufacturer of a broad range of transit packaging equipment, warehouse automation and after-market support solutions, is highlighting its integrated solutions and new automated packaging innovations at Pack Expo 2025. Held at the Las Vegas Convention Center from 29 September to 1 October 2025, visitors to stand W-2564 will experience how Signode technologies work together to create cohesive, high-performance systems that address the demands of today’s packaging environments.

“One of the best parts of Pack Expo is having real conversations with the packaging community and finding out what they need,” said Rick Hantke, senior director of marketing and product management, at Signode. “The innovative products and integrated solutions we’re showcasing this year are shaped by those conversations and reflect how we continue to evolve alongside our customers.”

Introducing the Octopus Prestige Stretch Wrapper

Signode will present the Octopus Prestige stretch wrapper, the latest addition to its automation portfolio. Positioned as the next generation in the company’s integrated performance solutions, the new model builds on its predecessor while delivering higher speed and reduced film consumption. Equipped with the Double-S film carriage system, the Octopus Prestige sets new benchmarks in efficiency and film conversion.

“The Octopus Prestige stretch wrapper is more than just fast. It’s smart, efficient, and built to last,” said Jyri Lehtio, business development director. “It’s the result of listening to our customers and delivering a solution that meets their real needs.”

Integrated solutions in action

Signode will also present a unified view of its expansive portfolio, showcasing how smart automation, reliable tools, and high-performance consumables work together to solve real transit packaging challenges.

In-stand demonstrations will feature an integrated end-of-line system that includes Simplimatic Robotic Palletizers and Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) with enhanced lifting capabilities in-line with the Octopus Prestige stretch wrapping machine. Together with StorFast Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS), visitors can see how Signode provides flexible automation systems that deliver consistency, efficiency, and reliability for end-of-line operations.

Pack Expo attendees will also get a first-hand look at Signode’s case handling solutions, including the newly introduced Little David LDX-RC, a compact semi-automatic box opener designed to replace manual box cutting in high-volume decanting operations. Built on the proven LDX-RTB case sealing platform, the LDX-RC features a new tape cutting cartridge, offering an efficient, high-speed solution for case opening. In-booth demonstrations will also include the recently introduced BXT4 hand tool, the fully automated SGP3330 strapping machine and the new Dylastic Pro strap – highlighting the impact of pairing high-quality consumables with Signode equipment.

Custom protective packaging

Signode’s comprehensive approach is further strengthened by a diverse portfolio of Engineered Solutions custom protective packaging, dunnage, and transit packaging solutions, all designed to elevate customers’ operations and reinforce the commitment to their ongoing success. These and all Signode offerings are backed by industry-leading service and support, including the Packaging Plus Reliability Services program. Customizing solutions to meet transit packaging needs, Signode leverages IoT capabilities for remote monitoring and service, alongside on-site support from the Customer Experience Center and Packaging Lab in Roselle, IL.
