ProPak India 2019 – a comprehensive event for processing and packaging manufacturers

The 2019 edition of ProPak India, scheduled from 21 to 23 October is set to be hosted in Mumbai at the Bombay Convention & Exhibition Center, after its successful launch in Greater Noida last year. The international network of ProPak is confirming its fifth stop in Mumbai, touring Philippines (ProPak Philippines), Vietnam (ProPak Vietnam), Thailand (ProPak Asia), and Myanmar (ProPak India Myanmar). ProPak is increasing its influence on the international scenario of the processing and packaging industry by facilitating business opportunities to more than 3,000 exhibitors and 100,000 buyers.

ProPak India is the best format to fulfill the needs of a dynamic and fast- growing market like the Indian one. By representing all the sectors of the processing and packaging domain, the show offers a broad overview as well as solutions for the industry – machinery, materials, process control and testing, and automation.

Glatt Engineering, Bossar Packaging, WOLF, Nichrome, Control Print, Ace Technologies, Goma Engineering, Maharshi Udyog and other leading names will showcase their technology to 5,000 attendees expected at Mumbai edition.

Mumbai edition will see many initiatives alongside the show in collaboration with associations, industry bodies, and exhibitors. The B2B matchmaking facilitates conversation between exhibitors and buyers who can schedule their meetings in advance. Thanks to an innovative match making software, attendees and companies can identify professionals who perfectly suit their business needs.

SIES School of Packaging with its expertise will curate the technical sessions on packaging machinery and materials. These sessions will see professionals presenting the new technology and its role in shaping the future landscape. In addition, Authentication Solution Providers’ Association will provide a perspective on the implications of counterfeiting on manufacturers and consumers.

On the second day of the show (22 Oct), Indian Flexible Packaging & Folding Carton Manufacturers Association will host a business conference by bringing key stakeholders together for a constructive discussion on the pressing issues faced by the flexible packaging players and deliberate on the sustainable alternatives.

One of the most appreciated initiatives, Women in Processing & Packaging will put a spotlight on the underrepresented gender in the industry. The session will feature industry leaders’ conferring on the company culture change required to grow women’s presence in this male-dominated field, and how the industry as a whole can assist in building a more diversified workforce.
