Printmann Group has strategically invested in the latest sheetfed offset technology from Koenig & Bauer. Located in Navi Mumbai, Printmann specializes in the comprehensive production of labels and packaging for various sectors, such as pharmaceuticals, FMCG, and the food industry. Its establishment in Navi Mumbai traces back to 1987.

After nearly 35 years of using machinery from different manufacturers, Printmann broke with tradition and introduced its inaugural Rapida sheetfed offset press from Koenig & Bauer in 2021. The new partnership commenced with the installation of a Rapida 105, featuring a maximum sheet format of 740 x 1,050 mm, equipped with seven inking units, a coater, and an extended delivery system, thus creating a hybrid press capable of both conventional and UV production.

This year, the company has installed a second press – another Rapida 105. It has six inking units, a coater, and all the essential equipment for mixed UV production. This setup also provides numerous options for product refinement and finishing.

The two medium-format Rapidas share nearly identical features, including raised foundations for board production up to 1.2 mm, production speeds of up to 16,000 sheets per hour, a two-section extended delivery, non-stop pile-changing capabilities for both the feeder and delivery, inking unit temperature control, CleanTronic Multi (washing systems for the alternating use of conventional and UV inks), EES (Emission Extraction System), VariDry IR/hot-air/UV dryers, and additional automation solutions.

Printmann is among the many highly efficient and technologically advanced print and packaging companies in the Indian subcontinent. The company holds ISO 9001:2008 and PS 9000:2011 certifications for pharmaceutical packaging materials. Furthermore, it meets global food packaging standards with its BRC:IOP accreditation.

Printmann’s exceptional quality and performance have been acknowledged through an extensive list of awards, which includes multiple Label Awards and National Awards for Excellence in Printing, both in silver and gold categories. In this challenging environment, the two Rapida 105 presses consistently demonstrate their unique capabilities on a daily basis.
