At this year’s Luxe Pack (21-23 Sept, Monaco) as well as All4Pack (14-17 Nov, Paris) Saralon is going to launch several new groundbreaking innovations for customer attraction, promotion marketing, Point-of-Sale communication as well as Brand protection.

One approach will be an illuminated bottle label that will light up a segmented multi-color display for attraction at the point-of-sale or other occasions. For Smart Packaging or Promotional Marketing Saralon has developed these two approaches to bring light into packages based on its functional inks:

  • Printed Electronics has the potential to revolutionize the packaging industry by integrating electronic functionality and bring additional value to the product.

Saralon has developed several functional inks as well as technology to print electronical applications (such as battery, sensors, displays, circuits) by using conventional printing technology directly in one approach. With this technology Saralon enables packaging manufacturers to bring new features to packages and create additional value.

There are many advantages of this kind of technology such as flexibility, reduction of TCO (total costs of ownership), scalability, disposability, etc.
