Monotech launches multiple products at Labelexpo India

Monotech Systems, India’s leading provider of products and solutions for printing and packaging industry, launched multiple products which were not only from its own brand JETSCI, but from the other principals: Focus and Labelmen as well. This was the biggest ever participation of Monotech Systems in Labelexpo where it launched a variable data inkjet security printing with slitter rewinder and inspection system; a modular full color inkjet printing solution; ultra-high speed and quality hybrid inkjet imprinting unit; and a personalized solution for cards. From the principal products, the company for the first time displayed Focus Proflex High Performance Servo Label Press live at the expo and introduced the Taiwan giant Labelmen to the Indian labels and packaging market.

The modular full color inkjet printing machine for label production can be integrated with an existing flexo printing press or finishing and converting machines. With a printing width of up to 330 mm and top speed of 70 meter a min, it features an advanced RIP engine, CMYK process color, UV LED and lamp curable inks, as well as an option to have white, spot or security inks. The variable data inkjet security printing, slitter rewinder and inspection system, with a web width of 350 mm, can operate at a maximum speed of 150 meter a min. It offers multiple lane inkjet printing, features track and trace modules, UV curing system and static eliminator.

At the event, Monotech Systems also launched the JETSCI X1 and X2 series of hybrid inkjet imprinting units that can be retrofitted to any converting, conventional printing press of high speed and quality requirements. With Fujifilm Dimatix Samba printheads that offer a resolution of 1200 dpi, the inkjet unit prints at speed of up to 300 meter a min. The unit can print with both water-based inks as well as UV-curable inks. The inkjet imprinting station is targeted at printing barcodes, 1D, 2D and QR codes or logical and sequential numbers, variable images, custom fonts and symbols, micro text and security features, full or part page variable features as well as multi-color printing.

The company also showcased the personalization machine for printing plastic and PVC cards. It is equipped with K-series inkjet printheads. This particular solution could print VDP on plastic cards in one color at high quality and speeds; and also it can be further upgraded to full color printing. The cards can be printed at the speed of up to 6500 cards an hour.

From flexo and offset label printing, the Focus Proflex which was shown live at the label show is a modular printing press which is available with Servo drive technology (Se version) or line shaft (e Version). The new drop in Cylinders ensure fast set up and consistent quality throughout the press speed. It can be further offered of options for specialized production applications from unsupported films through to small cartons.

Labelmen is specialized in manufacturing of rotary letter press, offset press, diecutting and letter press. According to short-run printing with high variety and cost down requirements. Labelmen designs with more humane technology such as CNC One Touch Make-Ready Design, Ani-Print Inking System and Remote Monitoring and Diagnosing which can truly meet customers’ printing requirements.
