Hyderabad company adds Lombardi 14-color Synchroline UV flexo press

Printing and packaging equipment supplier Vinsak has announced the sale of 14–color Synchroline UV Flexo press to Hyderabad-based KL Hi-Tech group. The machine is a fully loaded press including inkjet printing system, camera inspection for VDP and a host of special features to cater to the production of high security lottery tickets as well as scratch cards in addition to labels and packaging.

KL Hi-Tech Secure Print is known for its security printing business catering to various government bodies, universities, telecom companies and banks. The three-decade-old firm provides services in variable data personalization of credit/debit cards, bank statements, bill, exam sheets, ballot paper, bank statement printing etc. They are also a lead security printer in printing the UID cards for the Government of India

Srinivasa Rao, chairman of KL Hi-Tech Secure Print, says, “We have been in the security business for more than three decades now and have seen customer demands grow from simple 3- or 4-color jobs to the 12- to 14-color jobs. We were looking for a platform to integrate multiple technologies on one system which would allow us Single pass production of our complex security jobs and we visited the Lombardi factory to do some testing a few months ago. After careful testing and evaluation among all other available options, we chose this piece of equipment which we hope will add immense value to our offering to our customers”

Ranesh Bajaj, diector, Vinsak India, says, “We like to thank Mr. Rao and entire KL Hi-Tech team for reiterating their faith in Vinsak. KL Hitech is our prime customer and we have a very old relationship with them with multiple equipment installed over the years in different parts of their production environment. This press will enable KL Hi-Tech to print on a range of substrates and will facilitate them to diversify into new segments as well.”
