For the first quarter ended 31 March, 2018, Huhtamaki PPL (HPPL), reported a total income of Rs. 55,728 lacs as against Rs. 56,769 lacs for the corresponding period in the previous year. The company’s profit from operations before tax for the period increased by 11.71% to Rs. 3,273 lacs (Rs. 2,930 lacs in Q1-2017).

The Profit after Tax for the first quarter ended 31 March, 2018 stood at Rs. 1,780 lacs, a 9% increase over Rs. 1,632 lacs posted in the corresponding quarter in the previous year. The company’s earnings per share (face value: Rs. 2 each) (not annualized) for the quarter stood at Rs. 2.36 as against Rs. 2.16 for the corresponding quarter in the previous year.
