DuPont Advanced Printing, will highlight the newest enhancements to the flexographic printing workflow process and showcase its prepress offerings at Stand E10 at Labelexpo India 2018 in Greater Noida, India, 22-25 November 2018.
At the show, DuPont will showcase the Cyrel FAST 2000 TD and DuPont Cyrel EASY flexographic printing plate technology. Built on nearly two decades of global experience with Cyrel FAST, the Cyrel FAST 2000 TD is the latest addition to the DuPont portfolio.
DuPont Cyrel FAST 2000 TD is a thermal, solvent-free flexographic plate processor. Since the equipment is solvent-free, it is environmentally friendly with no solvents to handle, store or recycle, and no drying time is required, enabling businesses to create high-quality Cyrel FAST press-ready plates in less than an hour.
The new Cyrel FAST 2000 TD provides outstanding quality and productivity in a mid-size (42 x 60 inches) format for flexible packaging and tag and label applications. With its new ergonomic and compact design, the Cyrel FAST 2000 TD features several cutting-edge tools and technologies that contribute to higher plate quality, easier workflow and improved machine serviceability.
The new Cyrel EASY technology platform simplifies the prepress process by building the flat top digital dot directly into the plate, resulting in increased productivity and consistency. This plate portfolio is a simpler plate making workflow, with fewer steps and higher consistency. Cyrel EASY plates are based upon a new polymer that produces higher ink transfer and higher resolution, plus customer testing has shown significantly higher SID without compromising on highlights. There is no need to invest in nitrogen exposure unit, LED technology or lamination equipment to get flat top dots. Cyrel EASY plates are available for FAST/thermal and solvent processing and in engineered and smooth surfaces. According to the company, plates processed in the FAST 2000 TD processor have better cleanout and relief depth uniformity while providing excellent fine line and dot holding and is a perfect fit with the Cyrel EASY plate portfolio.
