The eagerly awaited interpack 2017 has commenced at Messe Düsseldorf, Germany. The show, which runs from 4-10 May, has recorded the highest demand among exhibitors in the event’s 55 year history. According to Messe Düsseldorf, exhibitor registrations are at a record level.

Around 2,700 exhibitors are expected to at the show from 60 countries. These include: RPC, Sealpac, Loma, Innovia, Domino, Bosch,.Sappi and Amcor among numerous other well-known packaging and packaging machinery specialists.
This year’s show will again feature the Save Food congress, which will run on the first day of Interpack. The conference is held in partnership with the UN Food and Agriculture Organisation and the UN Environment Programme.

interpack’s Innovation Parc will be a special show featuring packaging ideas designed to reduce food losses and waste. They will include the winners of the international competitions for the Save Food Packaging Awards, held by the World Packaging Organisation. The Innovation Parc will be held in a high-quality marquee, situated between Halls 2 and 3.

In addition, interpack will also host ‘Components for processing and packaging’. Visitors will find the event within the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre, in the temporary Hall 18. Covering about 5,000 sqm, the hall will be situated at the heart of interpack, between exhibition halls 10 and 16.
