Comexi has expanded its presence in Thailand with the sale of an Offset CI8 printing press and an ML1 MC laminator to Prepack, a leading supplier of flexible packaging in Thailand. Prepack is optimistic that these two machines will enable it to offer its customers the best printing quality due to Comexi’s leading offset central impression printing technology.

“We are very satisfied with this agreement. Prepack is a solid company and has an exceedingly serious market proposal,” explains Alexander Astudillo, Comexi area manager, who highlights that “Prepack Thailand consistently explores new options to develop the best packaging solutions for today and tomorrow to offer the market.”

Prepack Thailand was established in 1973 after adopting the flexible packaging manufacturing technology from Prepac France. The company’s early collaborations, producing pasteurized milk packaging under Royal patronage, were with the Nongpho Ratchaburi Dairy Corporation. Additional prior products included 5 kg rice bags for Prathum Rice Mill.

Presently, Prepack Thailand is a well-recognized Thai top flexible packaging manufacturer. The company has expanded its product range and supplies diverse industries, including food, snacks, personal care and hygiene, chemical and industrial, and various other consumer areas. Since 2015, Prepack Thailand has been affiliated with SCG Packaging, Thailand’s largest packaging company, and a subsidiary of Siam Cement Group, a leading industrial conglomerate in the Southeast Asia Region.
