BST eltromat, a leading manufacturer of inspection systems for labels and narrow web industry, has announced the launch of an upgraded version of their flagship TubeScan system with the all new 4K camera. The corresponding line frequency of the new 4K camera is even much higher and will facilitate 100% inspection at much lower cost compared to other inspection systems available in market. This will take TubeScan to the next level in terms of enhanced image quality, higher accuracy, improved defect detection and much better performance as compared to other high-end costly defect detection systems. The new TubeScan camera will provide a Cross-web resolution of 4100 pixels (4K) and is therefore ideally suited for all kind of narrow web applications.

According to BST eltromat, this camera will establish a new era. High resolutions known from other premium inspection systems will from now on available at much lower cost. The corresponding line frequency of the new 4K camera is even much higher compared to current systems.

The TubeScan system will be now equipped with some more exciting features in addition to the above update. BST eltromat has already launched the workflow software for TubeScan System, QLink and it focuses on synchronization, data handling and error editing. With QLink, TubeScan systems can be used for the automatic control of cutting machines and stand-alone 100% inspection systems. Further, BST eltromat has officially released the new module ‘TubeScan PDF validation’. This recent development adds to the extensive product series of TubeScan inspection systems and allows for a fast, reliable and comfortable comparison between the TubeScan reference image and one or more interlaced digital PDF templates.

BST claims that TubeScan is the only system currently available in the market which can be upgraded at any point of time and is highly customized according to the requirements of the printers and applications. According to the company, these features will certainly boost the acceptance of TubeScan system in Indian label industry. Indian Label printers now can increase their productivity and enhance quality of their output with the help of TubeScan Systems and that too at a very reasonable cost as compared to other high-end inspection systems available in the market.

BST eltromat has installed more than 1000 TubeScan systems in 55 countries and this number is increasing every day. Many OEMs prefer and even end-users demand TubeScan on their presses due to the robustness, flexibility, simplicity and higher accuracy of the system.
