
Showcasing its newest innovative products for the flexible packaging market, Sun Chemical will demonstrate its commitment to advancing transformative, sustainable solutions at Infoflex 2025 in Pittsburgh, Pa, from 5–6 May 2025.
Under the theme ‘Experience. Transformation,’ Sun Chemical will exhibit its unique portfolio of inks, coatings and adhesives, offering comprehensive innovations for flexible film and paper packaging. This complete product range enables Sun Chemical to provide solutions that maximize efficiency and minimize environmental impact.

Visitors of stand 403 will discover Sun Chemical’s extensive offering of sustainable products designed to transform flexible packaging:
- Compliant with stringent European food safety regulations and designed for use in high-heat industrial ovens, the award-winning SunVisto AquaHeat water-based flexographic inks are made up of over 60% bio-based raw materials, offering an eco-friendly solution for high-quality printing of vibrant colors for food packaging applications.
- Recognized by the Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR) for enabling high-quality, natural recycled high-density polyethylene (HDPE), SunSpectro SolvaWash FL+ solvent-based flexo inks are washable/de-inkable, primer-free and designed to enhance flexo printability as well as PET bottle recycling.
- Honored with a Flexographic Technical Association award for its contribution to sustainable innovation, the SunUno Solimax AP multi-purpose system of solvent-based inks and overprints is used for snack food applications and meets market requirements for compostability, reducing landfill and improving end-of-life scenarios.
- Compatible with both mercury-vapor and LED lamps, SolarWave CRCL UV LED curing flexo inks are designed to help reduce energy consumption during production. These primer-free, de-inkable and recycle-friendly inks are designed to fully wash off printed substrates without bleeding, allowing high-quality recyclates.
Sun Chemical’s stand will also showcase a range of flexographic printing solutions focused on maximizing production efficiency. These include SolarFlex UV flexo inks, known for their optimal performance at high press speeds, low odor and migration, and compliance with food packaging regulations. Also featured are SunStrato HydroLam water-based lamination inks, compatible with various lamination systems—solvent, solvent-less, and extrusion – and several are Swiss Ordinance-compliant for indirect food contact. Additionally, SunSpectro Hydropoly water-based inks and coatings offer fast drying, excellent adhesion, and rub resistance for surface printing on multiple film substrates.
